Who We Are

Signia Credit Union, formerly Schofield Federal Credit Union, was chartered on August 24, 1951. The credit union was first organized by a group of 10 individuals that included Department of Defense (DoD) engineers from Hawaii, a high-ranking military official, and other DoD personnel who were all stationed or working at Schofield Barracks. The credit union is proud of its history in serving the financial needs of our military as well as all the civilian employees who support our military. In recent years, we have continued to expand our services to our veteran community, and now we are proudly serving all individuals on the island of Oahu and their families.
